I provide wedding services in the greater Sacramento County area.
This would also include West Sacramento, Parts of Yolo And Placer County as well.
What officiant services do you provide?
The Wedding ceremonies I offer include: non-denominational.
I also perform wedding vow renewal ceremonies and Baby and Child dedications.
Do you require a signed contract?
Yes. I have a contract that provides clarity around the terms of our agreement and
assures that I am committed to you on the date and at the time of your
wedding.
How do you expect payment?
I ask for a $50 non-refundable retainer deposit when you reserve your date on my
calendar and sign our agreement. The balance is due 15 days before your wedding. Payment can be made by
money order or bank cashier’s check payable to: Pat Alexander or by
cash. We do not accept personal checks. You will be given a receipt for all cash transactions.
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Absolutely!
Will we be able to select the wording of our vows and other readings that are used in our ceremony?
Of course! I have a ceremony that I use, you can add to it, or deduct from it. You can add in a section for your own personal words to each other. And you can add in a extra ceremony like the Rose Ceremony, Unity Candle Ceremony or Sand Ceremony. This is how you make this ceremony personal and unique to you.
Are you willing to attend pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Depending on day and time, and location I can do one rehearsal. I am only available after 7 p.m. during the work week. If the wedding is to far away keep in mind that a mileage fee might be added.
What is your attire at the ceremony?
Casual simi formal.
If we just wanted to have a simple quiet ceremony with a couple of friends or family members would you be able to do that? Would you have any suggestions of locations?
Yes, for a quick, small intimate ceremony, or elopement ceremony I ask that you come to Elk Grove. We can meet up at a location of your choosing, like a friends home, or one of the locations I am familiar with here in Elk Grove. You will need at least one witness, IF you do not have a witness we can provide one for you for an additional $25.00 California law requires you have at least one witness. The ceremony would be about 20 minutes plus time to sign the marriage license and etc. You would have your marriage license in hand with you. You can get your license in advance from the county clerks office. I can also meet you at a park, flower garden, restaurant, or other choices nearby.
Would you perform a same sex marriage?
Yes absolutely.
